TANK fashion shoot - worlds

The lovely Kat Hessen - preparing for her many Fashion Weeks (she is doing London, New York, Milan AND Paris and sounds a tad scared by the prospect) kindly bounded along to shoot TANK's Worlds, giving us an insight into her world and her thoughts on pretty much everything and anything.

She's so sweet, very into her environmental stuff, loves to learn and is set to dominate 2011 fashion weeks all over the world again after her stellar performances in 2010. Here are some snapshots from the shoot, we had some amazing clothes and a great team which made the day totally fun.

And our fab photographer discovering what it's like to stand in 6 inch Louboutins - let alone jump, run, dance (I think he felt a bit more sorry for the models after that!)

bewitching!

Sisters of the Black Moon are one of my new 'must check Ebay to see if they have new stuff up' obsessions. All of their stuff is ridiculously unique yet amazingly on-trend. Add to this their superbly stunning photoshoot (makes me want to wander round a misty moor in a gothic gypsy get-up!) and you have a winning mix of powerful aesthetics and clothes you can get your hands on. Perfect for Autumn, doesn't it make you want to be a sister too?

New items up in the shop at the moment include an amazing array of coats that are perfect for this season and this dress of refined red ruffles (great for an Autumnal burst of colour!)

interlude...

... a dreamy interlude of images (and one rather raunchy one!) that have been inspiring me whilst waiting to write my Oz post. So close to the end of our trip and excited to get back to all my clothes and an Autumny England - bliss!

my first fashion shoot

Throughly excited, I set off to help out on my very first fashion shoot to shoot some covers and a fashion story for the magazine I am interning for. What a lot of hard work goes into something as huge as this! One jet plane, about 40 pairs of shoes, 15 shirts, dresses, Ralph Lauren trouser suits, a Porsche, one Burberry mac, stunning pieces of jewellery (including a gorgeous Lara Bohinc necklace that I wanted so badly), sunglasses, some amazing Vivienne Westwood, a very skilled photographer and countless others made up this special - and looong - shoot. Below are just some of the behind-the-scenes photos I managed to snap between wardrobe and styling duties...

The VW coat that had everyone drooling!

Maximum credit due to our brave models who braved the sub-zero temperatures whilst still managing to look outstanding, as well as photographer-cum-handyman Andre who saved the day with a manly display of jumplead-fashioning when the Porsche battery died!
