When I heard about Maaike Mekking's presentation for her A/W 10-11 collection it all seemed so different and interesting that I had to read up on it in more detail. 'Witch-Craft-Wo-Man-Ship' sounded like a truly surreal and special experience for those who had the pleasure to view it - one lone model trying on each piece in a makeshift bedroom in a transfixing show. This ethereal performance perfectly showcased the extremely wearable, variably textured and vintage film-inspired collection in a unique and interesting way - fair play to the designer for her gorgeous garments and equally individual idea for a presentation.
